On behalf of all southern mountain lovers, thanks, Scott, for your dedication and photographic imagery.

He has a huge offering of wonderful books, calendars, greeting cards etc., all at www.jscottgraham.com . He's an amazing one-man marketing venue and I promise we mountain lovers will see more of his images of the southern mountains here in MountainCrossroads.com soon.
As a seasoned editor (Arizona Highways magazine, and 11 photo books) I tip my hat to Scott and rank him as one of the best landscape photographers I've worked with.
The road was built during the depression years. There are no toll fees. It's the most visited unit in the national park system. (The nearby Smokies is the most visited national park). As old worn-down mountains (400 million years old and probably the oldest on our planet), our Blue Ridge Mountains don't offer the glamour of Yosemite, the Rockies or Yellowstone. However, Scott has made it his passion to provide us with sensitive views of our southern mountains that capture that special bluish cast from one layer to another and on to the distant horizon.
The Parkway is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year (the Smokies had their 75th last year). The 469-mile road winding its way across the peaks of the Southern Appalachian Mountains is a visual feast, and no one has captured this spectacular geologic wonder with more artistic skill than Scott.
To be a successful photographer, one must be passionate about his or her subjects, and patient. J. Scott Graham of Johnson City, TN, has mastered both. He has put himself in the forefront as a most devoted and gifted photographer of our wonderful Blue Ridge Parkway and other scenic wonders such as the Great Smoky Mountains.
